Cheesy Broccoli Rice Casserole Recipe

A Very Simple Cheesy Broccoli Rice Casserole Recipe - Enjoy!
I prefer a little more hot sauce
                

Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package processed cheese,
cubed
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream
of chicken soup
1 cup cooked wild rice
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped celery
1 dash hot sauce
ground black pepper to taste
1 (2.8 ounce) can French-fried onions
Instructions
1.
Place cheese in a 2-quart microwave-safe casserole dish; cook in microwave until mostly melted, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in chicken soup, wild rice, broccoli, chopped onion, celery, hot sauce, and black pepper.
2.
Microwave until fully cooked and bubbling, 12 to 14 minutes, rotating halfway through cooking. Sprinkle French-fried onions over casserole; cook for 1 more minute.

Salad Nicoise Recipe

A Great Salad Nicoise Recipe


Ingredients You Will Need:

8 ozs (250 g) green beans
12 ozs (375 g) small new red potatoes, sliced
1/4 cup (62 ml) olive oil
1/4 cup (62 ml) white vinegar
1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) dried tarragon
1/8 teaspoon (0.5 ml) dry mustard
pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups (375 ml) can flaked salmon or tuna
2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
2 hard cooked eggs, cut into wedges
1/4 cup (62 ml) green onions, sliced
lettuce leaves

Instructions:
1. Cook the green beans & potatoes in a large covered saucepan in
boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes, or until just tender. Drain &
place the vegetables in a medium bowl. Cover & chill for 2 to 24
hours.
2. To Make The Dressing: Combine the olive oil, vinegar, sugar,
tarragon, mustard & pepper. Mix well.
3. To Serve: Line 4 dinner plates with lettuce leaves. On the lettuce
lined plates, arrange the green beans, potatoes, salmon or tuna,
tomatoes & hard cooked eggs. Sprinkle each serving with green onions.
Shake the dressing well & pour it over the salads.

Asian Turnip Slaw Recipe

Very Unique Dish - Enjoy!




Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup rice vinegar
3 tablespoons sesame oil
2 teaspoons minced ginger
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon crushed mustard seed
1 teaspoon fennel seed
1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
2 cups shredded turnip
1 cup shredded carrot
1 cup shredded daikon radish
1 cup julienned baby bok choy
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup sliced red pepper
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
3 sliced scallions
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Serves 6 with a grilled meat

Instructions:

1. Whisk together the olive oil, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger,
garlic, mustard seed, fennel seed, pepper, sea salt & red chili
flakes. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, toss gently together the turnip,
carrot, daikon radish, baby bok choy, celery, red pepper, cilantro &
scallions.
3. Fold the dressing mixture into the turnip mixture. Top the salad
with the toasted sesame seeds.
